The Yale Glee Club will showcase two sacred music concerts in Virginia.

On Jan. 13, the ensemble will perform at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Old Town Alexandria in Virginia. The next day, it is set to appear at Grace & Holy Trinity Church in Richmond.

The performance, which is scheduled for Jan. 13, 2023, will feature a program of music by Brahms as well as newly commissioned works by Karen Siegel and Ayanna Woods, among others.

Jeffrey Douma will lead the ensemble. The performance is free and open to the general public.

The Yale Glee Club is Yale’s principal undergraduate chorus and its oldest musical organization. It is currently in its 162nd season. The organization is also set for concerts alongside Kaleidoscope Vocal Ensemble in late January 2023 as well as a performance with Craig Hella Johnson in March, one at New Haven High Schools Choral Festival, and a Commence concert in May 2023.
