Works & Process is set to present a performance of excerpts from Washington National Opera’s “O’Keeffe: Kiss the Sky” by composer Christopher Tin, librettist Kelley Rourke, with choreography by Jessica Lang on Oct. 18, 2026 at the Peter B. Lewis Theater.

The presentation will go behind the scenes of the opera-ballet commissioned by Washington National Opera (WNO). Before its world premiere in March 2027 in Washington, DC, join artistic director Francesca Zambello, composer Christopher Tin, librettist Kelley Rourke, and choreographer Jessica Lang for a conversation about their collaboration.

There will also be performance excerpts featuring mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, tenor William Burden, mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Bishop, pianist Tongyao Li, and dancers.
