Wild Arts Announces Summer 2024 Slate

Wild Arts has announced its 2024 summer season.

There will be three programs. First up is the “Opera Evenings,” which will feature works by Gershwin, Mozart, Rossini, Lehár, Tchaikovsky, and Händel, among others. Performers include Galina Averina, Martha Jones, Xavier Hetherington, and Timothy Nelson. The showcase will be presented at Kent, Dorset, Suffolk, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Lincolnshire, Gloucestershire, Surrey, Somerset, and Cornwall.

Performance Dates: June 26 – July 30, 2024

There will also be a production of “The Magic Flute” as part of the Essex Summer Opera Festival. The Mozart work stars Natasha Page, Richard Dowling, Gareth Brynmor John, Luci Briginshaw, Trevor Bowes, and Edward Hawkins. Orlando Jopling conducts and James Hurley directs.

Also on the festival is the Young Artists Recitals / showcase.

Also part of the Opera Festival will be the world premiere of Noah Max’s song cycle “Rapture.”
