Wiener Staatsoper To Live Stream Donizetti’s ‘L’Elisir D’Amore’ Starring Olga Peretyatko & Dmitry Korchak

This Sunday, Feb. 26 the Wiener Staatsoper will Live Stream Donizetti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore” from its Live Stream service.

The cast includes Olga Mariotti-Peretyatko, Dmitry Korchak, Adam Plachetka and Alessio Arduini. Marco Armiliato conducts the classic Otto Schenk production which was released on DVD by Virgin Classics a few years ago.

The live stream will be available through the Wiener Staatsoper’s application and can be seen on the iPod, iPad, television and computer.

“L’Elisir d’Amore” will begin at 7 P.M. local time (1 P.M. EST and 10 A.M. PT) and will conclude at approximately 9:15 P.M. local time.

Following the live stream the Wiener Staatsoper will also present Strauss’ “Arabella” on March 17, Gounod’s “Faust” with Anita Hartig on March 25 and Massenet’s “Werther” with Ludovic Tezier in the title role and Sophie Koch on March 31.
