The Wiener Staatsoper has announced two cast changes.

The company said that Leonardo Neiva will sing the role of Michele in “Il Tabarro” on Oct. 20 replacing Michael Volle.

Meanwhile, Tomasz Konieczny will sing the role of the Barak in “Die Frau ohne Schatten” on Oct. 21, also stepping in for Michael Volle.

Leiva will join a cast that includes Anja Kampe, Joshua Guerrero, and Monika Bohinec. Philippe Jordan conducts the production by Tatjana Gürbaca.

Meanwhile, Konieczny will sing alongside Andreas Schager, Elza van den Heever, Tanja Ariane Baumgartner, Clemens Unterreiner, and Elena Pankratova. Christian Thielemann conducts the production by Vincent Huguet.
