Wexford Festival Opera Teams Up With RTÉ & ARTE to Stream Festival

The Wexford Festival Opera has announced that it will team up with RTÉ and ARTE to bring opera to audiences in Ireland and worldwide.

The festival will run between Oct. 11-18 and features performances by Lisette Oropesa, Antonio Pappano, Angela Meade, Celine Byrne, Ermonela Jaho,  Aigul Akhmetshina, Simone Alberghini, Nicola Alaimo, Daniela Barcellona, Joseph Calleja, Roberto de Candia, Paolo Bordogna, Helena Dix, Anne Sophie Duprels, Juan Diego Flórez, Igor Golovatenko, Dmitry Golovnin, Sophie Gordeladze, Rachel Kelly, Leon Kim, Alessandro Luongo, Raffaella Lupinacci, Sergey Romanovsky, Luca Salsi, Levy Sekgapane, Mariangela Sicilia, Nora Sourouzian, and Noah Stewart.

The further development this year of our existing collaborative partnership with RTÉ will enable audiences across the country and around the world to experience, enjoy and be enriched by live performances safely and free-to-view across RTÉ’s extensive online culture platform and on RTÉ lyric FM. This year of all years this is a really strong example of RTÉ truly supporting the arts.”
