West Green House Opera Announces 2025 Season

The West Green House Opera has announced its 2025 season celebrating its 25th anniversary. The season will be dedicated to works inspired by Shakespeare.

Bellini’s “I Capuleti e i Montecchi” will take the stage with a cast that includes Fflur Wyn, Katie Coventry, Julian Henao Gonzalez, Timothy Nelson, and Henry Waddington. John Andrews conducts the production by Lysanne van Overbeek.

Performance Date: July 18, 2025

Verdi’s “Macbeth” will star Jean-Kristof Bouton, Mari Wyn Williams, Robyn Lyn Evans, Simon Wilding, Rebecca Afonwy Jones, and Egor Zhuravskii. Richard Studer directs and Jon Lyness conducts.

Performance Dates: July 19 & 20, 2025

The West Green House Opera will present special lunchtime performances featuring artists from its partner, the renowned National Opera Studio.

Performance Dates: July 20 & 27, 2025

There will be a special performance by Oz and Armonico of ‘The Fairy Queen.”

Performance Date: July 22, 2025

The 25th Anniversary Gala will feature tenor Thomas Elwin and conductor John Andrews leading the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Performance Date: July 25, 2025

Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” will star Grant Doyle, Lorena Paz Nieto, and James Cleverton. Richard Studer directs and Jon Lyness conducts.

Performance Dates: July 26 & 27, 2025
