Welsh National Opera Announces New Board Members

The Welsh National Opera has announced the appointment of three new board members.They include Andrew Miller, Henry Little, and Sam Jones.

Miller is an arts consultant and broadcast who has worked with such organizations as Boom! And Advice Shop for BBC1. He has also worked in senior roles at the Arts Council England, Royal and Demgate Theatres, and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Little was appointed as Chief Executive of Opera Rara in 2015 and has led a number of projects for the organization. He was also Chief Executive of Orchestra Live for seven years and also has worked as a freelance stage director.

Finally, Jones has worked alongside such major stars as Adele, Madonna, Rihanna, and organizations like The Telegraph, The Premier League, the NFL, ATP, Turner, and EMI Classics. He was also the CEO of Overtier.

“We are delighted to welcome our new members to WNO and to be expanding the breadth of expertise on our Board – we’ve already seen the benefits of their skills and experience in their early interactions with us. We are looking forward to adding further new members in the coming months,” stated WNO Board member and Interim Chair Martyn Ryan in a press release.
