The Royal Swedish Opera will be live stream a concert performance of Wagner’s “Die Walküre” on Saturday, March 14 at 3 p.m. local time in Sweden.

The performance stars Iréne Theorin, Elisabet Strid, and Greer Grimsley under the musical direction of Constantin Trinks.

The company noted in its official announcement that it will open up more daily content on its recently launched Operan Play service.

“Right now we are working on sending Figaro’s Wedding on Tuesday as well. But as Europe closes its borders, we need to know as soon as possible whether our conductors, such as Jean-Christophe Spinosi in Figaro, can remain in Sweden,” stated Birgitta Svendén, the General Manager of the Royal Swedish Opera, on the official website’s release.

Operan Play can be viewed either directly on the computer or mobile device.
