Watch Ron Howard’s ‘Pavarotti’ Trailer

By David Salazar

The trailer for Ron Howard’s upcoming “Pavarotti” film has been unveiled.

The two-minute trailer kicks off with the tenor himself providing some background on his beginnings and paying it all off with a nice joke. Throughout the trailer, you hear reactions and interviews from a number of different people, including Plácido Domingo, Joseph Volpe, Jose Carreras, Angela Gheorghiu, and others.

It hints at the film taking a more intimate look at the famed opera singer and what came behind his great success. To cap it all off, you get a performance of “Nessun Dorma” at the close of the trailer.

The film was directed by Ron Howard and produced by Brian Grazer, Howard, Nigel Sinclair, Michael Rosenberg, and Jeanne Elfant Festa with PolyGram Entertainment, Decca Records, Imagine Entertainment, and White Horse Pictures as production companies. CBS Films will distribute it in the U.S.

The film will hit theaters on June 7, 2019.
