Watch ‘Kátá Kabanová’ From Teatro Di San Carlo On OperaVision

OperaVision will present the Teatro Di San Carlo’s performance of Janácek’s “Kátá Kabanová” on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018.

The opera performance, which will be directed by Willy Decker and conducted by Juraj Valcuha, will star Pavla Vykopalová in the title role. Other cast members include Ludovit Ludha, Gabriela Benacková, Misha Didyk, Sergej Kovnir, Lena Belkina, and Boris Stepanov.

The stream kicks off at 6 p.m. local time. That’s around 12 p.m. EDT and 9 a.m. PST for the start time. It will be available for repeat viewings through June 19, 2019.

The streaming service is free through OperaVision, which, per its official website, is a project “supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe program, OperaVision builds on the success of The Opera Platform, with more contributing opera companies from more countries, under the editorial supervision of Opera Europa, the European association of opera companies and festivals.
