Watch Juan Diego Flórez & Nino Machaidze Star in ‘Manon’ Via Vienna State Opera’s Live Stream

Massenet’s famed “Manon” will take the stage on June 9, 2019 at the Vienna State Opera. The company will be live streaming the work to audiences around the world as well.

The famed French masterwork will star Nino Machaidze in the title role with Juan Diego Flórez as her lover Des Grieux. The cast also features Dan Paul Dumitrescu and Adrian Eröd.

Frédéric Chaslin conducts a production directed by Andrei Serban.

The stream kicks off at 7 p.m. local time and is slated to run until around 10:15 p.m. That’s around 1:30 p.m. EDT and 10:30 a.m. PST for the start time.

Per the official website, tickets start at 14 euros (approximately $16 USD) and can be purchased right off the Vienna State Opera’s streaming website. There are options for monthly subscriptions to future performances on the service depending on users’ preference to experience opera from the comfort of their homes.

Next up on the slate of live streams will be “Otello,” “Tosca,” and “Aida.”
