OperaVision will stream the opening and the finale of the 10th International Moniuszko Vocal Competition.

The event will open at the Teatr Wielki-Polish National Opera on May 5, 2019, with the grand finale set for May 11.

The opening night performance will feature singers that have won the competition in previous years. They include three sopranos (Olga Busuioc, Ewa Tracz, Joanna Zawartko), two mezzos (Urszula Kryger, Agata Schmidt), two tenors (Rafal Bartminski, Konu Kim), one countertenor (Jakub Jósek Orlinski), one bass-baritone (Lukasz Golinski), and one bass (Adam Palka).

Tadeusz Kozlowski will conduct the Orchestra of Teatr Wielki.

The stream kicks off at 7 p.m. local time. That’s around 1 p.m. EDT and 10 a.m. PST for the start time. The grand finale of the competition kicks off at 6 p.m. local time; that’s around 12 p.m. EDT and 9 a.m. PST for the starting time.

Both will be available for repeat viewings on Opera Vision until Nov. 11, 2019.
