Watch Isabel Leonard in ‘Dialogues Des Carmélites’ Live in HD From Met Opera

The Met Opera will close its season and its 2018-19 Live in HD series with a performance of Poulenc’s “Dialogues des Carmélites.”

The broadcast, which kicks off 11:55 a.m. Eastern time, will be headlined by Isabel Leonard in her second HD broadcast of the year. Leonard is now onto her seventh HD broadcast following appearances in “Roméo et Juliette,” “The Tempest,” “Così Fan Tutte,” “Il Barbiere di Siviglia,” “Le Nozze di Figaro,” and “Marnie.”

Leonard will appear alongside Karita Mattila, Erin Morley, Karen Cargill, Adrianne Pieczonka, and David Portillo, among others. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.

The Met’s 2019-20 season will also feature a slew of Live in HD performance of such operas as “Turandot,” “Manon,” “Porgy and Bess,” “Madama Butterfly,” “Akhnaten,” “Wozzeck,” “Agrippina,” “Maria Stuarda,” and “Tosca.”
