The Vienna State Opera will showcase Verdi’s “Don Carlo” as part of its live streaming service on Sept. 12, 2019.

The performance, the second of the current run, will feature Fabio Sartori, René Pape, Anja Harteros, Simon Keenlyside, and Elena Zhidkova. Jonathan Darlington conducts the four-act version of the opera.

The stream kicks off at 6:30 p.m. local time. That’s around 12:30 p.m. EDT and 9:30 a.m. PST for the start time.

Per the official website, tickets start at 16 euros (approximately $16 USD) and can be purchased right off the Vienna State Opera’s streaming website. There are options for monthly subscriptions to future performances on the service depending on users’ preference to experience opera from the comfort of their homes.

Next up on the slate of live streams will be Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffmann,” and Verdi’s “Il Trovatore.” In October, audiences will get a chance to check out “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “Ariadne auf Naxos,” “Die Frau Ohne Schatten,” “Simon Boccanegra,” and “Werther.”
