The Des Moines Metro Opera recently presented “Bon Appétit,” but those who missed on the July , 18, 19 and 21 performance can still check out the unique work via a couple of streaming options.

The Iowa Public Television presented an exclusive live stream of the opera by Lee Hoiby, which can be viewed below. The live stream took place during the performance on July 18.

On August 2, there will be a special version with additional content, also broadcast via Iowa Public Television. That performance will begin at 8:30 p.m.

The performances featured Joyce Castle as Julia Child with elden Little at the piano. Nathan Troup directed the production with Adam Crinson working as Scenic Designer. Nate Wheatley designed the lights, Heather Lesieur created the costumes for Julia Child, and Sarah Norton designed the wig and makeup to bring the icon to life.
