Washington Performing Arts Unveils 2024-25 Season

First up is “Living the Dream… Singing the Dream,” a Choral Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The showcase features the Washington Performing Arts Gospel Choirs and the Choral Arts Society of Washington.
Performance Dates: Feb. 2, 2025
Soprano Ariadne Grief and Brooklyn Rider present works by Schoenberg and Colin Jacobsen in a concert featuring music by other composers including Clarice Assad, Gabriel Kahane, and Tyshawn Sorey, among others.
Performance Dates: March 1, 2025
Karen Slack and Kevin Miller present “African Queens,” a program of works by Jasmine Barnes, Damien Geter, Jessie Montgomery, Shawn Okpebholo, Dave Ragland, Carlos Simon, and Joel Thompson, among others.
Performance Dates: March 9, 2025
The Washington Performing Arts Gospel Choirs, Men and Women of the Gospel Choir, Children of the Gospel Choir, and Children of the Gospel Choir Alumni join forces for a concert.
