Washington Master Chorale to Present ‘A Bel Canto Salon’

Washington Master Chorale will present “A Bel Canto Salon” on March 3, 2024.

The showcase, scheduled to take place at National Presbyterian Church will feature performances of Rossini’s “Petite messe solennelle,” Brahms’ “Liebeslieder Waltzer, Op. 52,” and the vocal cycle “Are Women People?” by Lori Laitman.

The performance will be headlined by two pianists, Thomas Pandolfi and Amanda Halstead, who will present a number of piano duos. Joining them will be soprano Danielle Talaments, bass-baritone Kerry Wilkerson, mezzo-soprano Carolin Nielson, and tenor Matthew Hill.

The performance kicks off at 5 p.m. local time.

The Washington Master Chorale will conclude its 2023-24 season with “Springtime Supper + Song” in April.
