Walter W. Naumburg Foundation to Present Erin Wagner in Recital

The Walter W. Naumburg Foundation is set to present Erin Wagner at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall on April 19, 2022.

She performs alongside pianist Shawn Chang in a program entitled “But How Things Change.” The duo will present music Edie Hill’s “The Giver of Stars: Six Poems of Amy Lowell;” Gabriel Fauré’s “Rêve d’amour,” “Nell,” “L’Hiver a cessé” and “Green;” Maurice Ravel’s “Deux Mélodies Hébraïques;” Shawn Chang’s “Daedalus;” Errollyn Wallen’s “Marty’s Letter;” and Gustav Mahler’s “Rückert Lieder.”

Wagner is the winner of the 2021 Naumburg Vocal Award and was named to the Merola Opera Program. She is also been part of the Houston Grand Opera Studio.

Chang is set to appear with the Merola Opera Program this fall and recently performed alongside the New York Festival of Song.
