Opera Atelier has announced that it will be releasing “Together / Apart Part II,” a 20-minute virtual performance celebrating the work of Resident photographer Bruce Zinger.

The video, which will be released on July 28, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET, will focus on the work for Opera Atelier’s 2016 production of “Dido and Aeneas.” Among the artists featured are Wallis Giunta and Christopher Enns. Canadian actor Irene Poole narrates excerpts of Robert Fagle’s translation of “The Aeneid,” with music performed by Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Pandemarmonium Baroque.

“While we wait for the imminent announcement of Toronto’s participation in Stage 3 of Ontario’s reopening plan, Together/Apart Part II gives us the opportunity to celebrate the beauty of one of Opera Atelier’s most iconic productions, as captured by our Resident Photographer, while looking to the future with optimism and anticipation,” said Jeannette Lajeunesse Zingg, Co-Artistic Director, Opera Atelier in a press release.
