The Voices of Silicon Valley is set to present a concert featuring Palestrina’s “Missa Papae Marcelli.”

The concert, which will take place on June 7, 2020, honors the victims of racial injustice.

“As we sing this work of peace and beauty, we remember the lives tragically lost very recently to injustice and violence in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Charlottesville, VA, and Oakland, CA. The singing will be accompanied by the pictures of the victims in an effort to heal from the pain and division,” the company noted in a press release.

The June 7 concert can be viewed via the company’s YouTube or Facebook page.

Voices of Silicon Valley was founded in 2014 with the mission of providing opportunities and collaborations for artists throughout the Silicon Valley Area. The company is well-known for employing technology in its artistic endeavors and is also committed to championing works that highlight social issues with the hope of engaging audiences in conversations on challenging topics and themes.
