Vienna State Opera 2019-20 Live Stream: Stephanie Houtzeel Stars As ‘Ariodante’

The Vienna State Opera will live stream Handel’s “Ariodante” on Nov. 15, 2019.

The opera will feature Stephanie Houtzeel, Chen Reiss, Hila Fahima, Max Emanuel Cenci, and Josh Lovell in a production directed by David McVicar. The performance will be conducted by Christophe Rousset.

The stream kicks off at 6:30 p.m. local time. That’s around 12:30 p.m. EDT and 9:30 a.m. PST for the start time.

Per the official website, tickets start at 16 euros (approximately $16 USD) and can be purchased right off the Vienna State Opera’s streaming website. There are options for monthly subscriptions to future performances on the service depending on users’ preference to experience opera from the comfort of their homes.

Next up on the slate of live streams will be “Eugene Onegin,” “Tosca,” “Orlando,” “La Bohème,” and “Die Fledermaus.”
