By David Salazar

The Victor Herbert Renaissance Project Live! will present “Heart O’Mine” on Nov. 17-22.

The online showcase will focus on Irish-themes by Victor Herbert and his grandfather Samuel Lover and can be streamed via the company’s official website.

The performance will feature Drew Bolander, Joanie Brittingham, Jovani Demetrie, Alexa Devlin, Jonathan Hare, Andrew Klima, Caitlin Ruddy, Christopher Robin Sapp, and David Seatter.

“The songs in this program build on each other. There is so much sentiment as we sing these songs, they build a totally new experience,” VHRP LIVE! Artistic Director Alyce Mott stated in a press release.

Among the pieces performed will be “The Bards of Ireland,” a song cycle based on words by Thomas Moore, as well as “Molly,” “Mary Came Over Me,” “Cruiskeen Lawn,” and “The Irish Have a Great Day Tonight.”

The concert video will be directed by Emily Cornelius.
