Victor Herbert Renaissance Project Live! Readies for Monthly Virtual Concert Series

The Victor Herbert Renaissance Project Live! has announced that the organization will be streaming archived performances of past concerts as part of its Virtual Concert Series.

All proceeds from the broadcasts will go toward supporting company artists.

First among these monthly broadcasts is a concert production of Hubert’s 1897 operetta “The Serenade,” running from August 25 – 30. The performance comes from April 2016.

Following this will be Herbert’s 1914 musical comedy “The Debutante,” which will stream from September 22 – 27.

Finally will be Hubert’s 1922 musical comedy “Orange Blossoms,” streaming from October 20 – 25.

Founded in 2013, the New York City-based company strives to promote to works of Herbert, who staged a number of operettas on Broadway and was an influential figure of Tin Pan Alley.
