The Barcelona Cathedral, in collaboration with the Gran Teatre del Liceu, is set to offer a funeral service for the late Montserrat Caballé.

The service, organized by her family, will be held on Nov. 17, 2018 and will include Verdi’s Requiem with Ainhoa Arteta, Maite Beaumont, Nikolai Schukoff and Alexander Vinogradov as the soloists.

The service will be free of charge and will be on a first come first serve basis. The Liceu will also live stream the service at the theater with a huge big screen. The Spanish television channel La2 will showcase the service to the entire nation.

In addition to the service, the Gran Teatre del Liceu will honor Caballé in collaboration with many of the great theaters around the world. The concert will be on an international level but a date has yet to be determined.
