On November 8, 2020, the Verdi Chorus is set to continue its 37th season with a gala concert titled “Amor y Odio, Songs of Spain and the New World.”

This concert also marks the premiere of the organization’s new online series, “Verdi Chorus Presents,” which is led by Artistic Director Anne Marie Ketchum.

The concert will feature a number of promising artists from the Verdi Chorus, called The Fox Singers, after long-time board member Walter Fox. Among the evening’s artists are sopranos Tiffany Ho and Sarah Salazar, mezzo Judy Tran, tenors Joseph Garate and Elias Berezin, and bass Esteban Rivas.

“I am so excited for these upcoming soirées, which will showcase our exceptional Fox Singers,” writes Ketchum in an official press release. “Finding ourselves immersed in a virtual online world over these past months has inspired me to create new musical experiences unlike anything we have done before. Music is such a vital thing to share with the world during this difficult time. These online concerts also allow us to offer the talents of The Verdi Chorus’ Fox Singers to an even larger audience.”
