Verbier Festival Announces Virtual Event Starting This July

The Verbier Festival has announced that it is teaming up with medici.tv and Radio Télévision Suisse to present the Virtual Verbier Festival between July 16-August 12.

The festival will feature several online performances as well as the broadcasting of part events.

The medici.tv program includes several major instrumentalists such as Evgeny Kissin, Martha Argerich, Joshua Bell, András Schiff, Gautier and Renaud Capuçon, and Leonidas Kavakas among others.

But opera fans will get a chance to listen to Thomas Quasthoff perform in recital.

Streaming Date: July 20, 2020.

Additionally, there will be a concert highlighting the “Singers of Verbier.”

Streaming Date: July 26, 2020.

Meanwhile, there are options for opera lovers on the audio streaming side of things. All performances kick off at 8 p.m. CET on RTS / Espace 2.
