Vancouver Opera to Present ‘Opera Date Night’ As Part of New Series

Vancouver Opera has announced the launch of “Exciting Voices: Concert Series.”

The first concert”Opera Date Night,” scheduled for Feb. 2, 2024, will take place at Martha Lou Henley Rehearsal Hall at The O’Brian Centre for Vancouver Opera and features countertenor Nicholas Burns, tenor Spencer Britten, sopranos Emma Parkinson and Rebecca Collett, bass Neil Craighead, and pianist Perri Lo.

“Vancouver Opera is proud to work with TD as the presenting sponsor of the VOICES concert series,” said Tom Wright, Vancouver Opera General Director, per an official press statement. “Through TD’s commitment to fostering the arts and enriching communities, this collaboration ensures that these exceptional musical experiences remain free and accessible to all. Join us for a night of passion, romance, and musical mastery, as these remarkable performers weave an evening of captivating melodies, promising an unforgettable ‘Opera Date Night.’”

The performance commences at 7:30 p.m. local time. It will be co-presented by TD Wealth.
