Vallejo Community Arts Foundation To Showcase ‘Three Tenors! – The Next Generation’

Vallejo Community Arts Foundation will present “Three Tenors! – The Next Generation,” on February 1, 2020, spotlighting tenors Pene Pati, Alex Boyer, and Christopher Oglesby. The event will take place at the Empress Theatre in Vallejo, California.

The event will feature a rich program consisting of popular arias, from “Aida,” “Rigoletto,” “La Traviata,” “Tosca,” “Turandot,” “La Bohème,” “Cavalleria Rusticana,” “L’Elisir d’Amore,” “La Gioconda,” “Pagliacci,” “La Forza del Destino,” and “Manon Lescaut.”

Pati has performed leading roles in such operas as “La Traviata,” “Roméo et Juliette,” “Anna Bolena,” “Rigoletto,” and “Madama Butterfly at such companies as the San Francisco Opera, Opéra National de Bordeaux, Bolshoi Theater, Festival Opera, Napier, and New Zealand Opera, among others.

Boyer’s recent engagements include “Norma, ” “Madama Butterfly,” “Moby Dick” with the Dallas Opera. Boyer has also performed in “La Bohème,” “Rigoletto,” “Lucia di Lammermoor,”“Il Trovatore” at the Island City Opera, among others.

Finally, Oglesby made his San Francisco Opera debut with “Carmen” and also performed in Mozart’s “Bastien and Bastienne” and Davies’ “The Three Little Pigs” at the Dallas Opera.

The performance will be conducted by Thomas Conlin who has appeared with the Philharmonisches Orchester Augsburg, Baden-Badener Philharmonie and Philharmonisches Orchester der Stadt Ulm and Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, among others.
