Valentina Naforniţa Announces Debut Album

Valentina Naforniţa has announced her debut album entitled “Romance.”

The debut album will showcase the soprano in arias by Mozart, Dvorak, and Moldovian music. Kerri-Lynn Wilson conducts the Munich Rundfunkorchester.

The Moldovian soprano first garnered the attention of audiences back in 2011 when she won the Cardiff Singer of the World competition and went on to be an ensemble member at the Wiener Staatsoper. She has appeared in close to 200 performances with the company in a variety of repertoire from Mozart, to Donizetti to Britten and Verdi.

Naforniţa has recently appeared on a DVD recording of “Don Giovanni” from the Salzburg Festival and on a CD entitled “The World of Hans Zimmer.”

The new album is set for release on Jan. 10, 2020.
