Utopia Opera Announces Cast of ‘Albert Herring’

The Utopia Opera has announced its cast for its upcoming performances of Benjamin Britten and Eric Crozier’s “Albert Herring.”

Cory Gross will take on the title role with Marie Masters Webb as Lady Billows. Caroline Tye will interpret Florence Pike, while Rebecca Richardson will be Miss Wordsworth. Glenn Friedman will appear as Mr. Gedge with Ethan Fran as Mr. Upfold. Stephanie Feigenbaum will take on Nancy. Other casting includes Sarah Marvel Bleasdale as Mrs. Herring, Hannah Madeleine Goodman as Emmie, Zoe Marie Hart as Cis, and Jen Wu as Harry.

The roles of Superintendent Budd and Sid have not been cast, per the company’s official Facebook post.

The production will be directed by Gary Slavin with conductor William Remmers leading the musical proceedings. Performances are slated for April 5, 6, and 12.
