We will update this page with new additions to the streaming offerings.

In the same vein as other companies, the Bayerische Staatsoper will be presenting performances daily via its live stream service on www.staatsoper.tv.

The programming is set to last all the way through April 19 as companies around the world observe regulations put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The roll-out of online performances initiates with “Judith” from a performance on Feb. 7, 2020. It stars Nina Stemme and John Lundgren as Judith and Herzog Bluebeard, respectively.

Oksana Lyniv conducted the performance, which was directed by Katie Mitchell.

The opera, which lasts one hour and 40 minutes will be made available on demand through March 26, 2020. Click here to watch.

Also available right now is Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” in a performance from July 5, 2013 starring Alexey Markov, Anja Harteros, and Elena Manistina. Paolo Carignani conducted the production by Olivier Py. It will be available to stream between March 14, 2020 and March 28, 2020.
