Trinity Church has unveiled its 2024-25 season.

Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

First up is the “Community Hymn Sing” featuring music by Margaret Bonds, Ralph Vaughan Williams,  Janet Yieh, Sterling Procter, Alcée Chriss, and others. The performance features the Trinity Choir and NOVUS Brass led by Alcée Chriss at the organ.

Performance Date: Sept. 8, 2024

Anthony Dean Griffey, Maggie Lattimore, Daniel Okulitch, Julia Mintzer, and Brittany Renee will perform Paola Prestini’s new opera “Silent Light.” Thaddeus Strassberger directs and Christopher Rountree conducts.

Performance Date: Sept. 26 – 28, 2024

Trinity Choir and Trinity Baroque Orchestra will present Bach’s “Magnificat,” BWV 243.

Performance Date: Oct. 2, 2024

Soprano Elisse Albian, alto Elisa Sutherland, and bass Enrico Lagasca join forces with Trinity Baroque Orchestra to present works by Bach.

Trinity Choir, under Melissa Attebury, presents a concert of works by Bach and Gabriel Kahane.

NOVUS showcases Gabriel Kahane’s “emergency shelter intake form.” Soprano Alicia Hall Moran is the soloist, joined by a chorus of inconvenient statistics and Choirs from the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Daniela Candilari conducts.

Trinity Choir performs works by Bach and Britten alongside the Trinity Baroque Orchestra and director Melissa Attebury.

Briana J. Robinson, Steven Caldicott Wilson, Enrico Lagasca, and the Downtown Voices headline “Divine Muse: Saint Cecilia Mass.” The program features works by Charles Gounod, Jessica French, and John Gardner. Stephen Sands conducts the program.
