Tri-Cities Opera to Present ‘The Magic Flute’ to Open New Season
By David SalazarTri-Cities Opera is set to kick off its new season with a production of “The Magic Flute.”
The Binghamton-based company will showcase the opera as part of the LUMA Arts Projection Festival on Sept. 6 and 8, 2024.
The Mozart opera will be conducted by David Bloom and features a production directed by Stefanos Koroneos. The opera has been adapted as a one-hour event in English.
“The Magic Flute” stars Sergio Mandujano as Tamino, Kate Johnson as Pamina, Megan Brunning as the Queen of the Night, Gregory Sheppard as Sarastro, and Michael Segura as Papageno. Other cast members include Victoria Popritkin, Emily Geller, Darya Narymanava, Robert Dakwar, and Juan Tello.
