Tri-Cities Opera is set to present “Opera and Beer: The Elixir of Love” in Binghamton.

The in person performances will be presented on May 26 and 27 and will be filled with spiedies, a miracle elixir, beer, and baseball. Performed in English, Donizetti’s classic will receives a fresh adaptation by librettist Audrey Chait and stage director Frances Rabalais.

The opera will star Erin Alcorn as Adina, Jenni Bank as Dr. Dulcamara, Tshombe Selby as Nemorino and Robert Flora as Belcore.

Food & Fire will also offer a concession menu of noshes and libations for consumption during the performance.

The live performance follows two on-demand, live-stream performance events “Acis and Galatea” and “La bohème.”
