Toronto Symphony Orchestra Announces European Tour

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) has announced a 14-day tour spanning eight cities in six countries.

The tour will run from Jan. 27 to Feb. 9, 2026, and will be Music Director Gustavo Gimeno’s first intercontinental tour with the orchestra.

Here is a look at the vocal performances for the tour:

Spain

The Auditorio Nacional de Música, Madrid will host a performance conducted by Gustavo Gimeno and soprano Anna Prohaska. The program will include music by Kelly-Marie Murphy, Rufus Wainwright, Haydn, and Mahler.

The Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelona will showcase Gustavo Gimeno, Bruce Liu, and Anna Prohaska. The program includes music by Rachmaninoff and Mahler.

Performance Dates: Jan 30, 2026 at 8:00pm


The Netherlands

The Het Concertgebouw, Amsterdam will showcase a concert with music by Kelly-Marie Murphy, Bartók, and Mahler. Gustavo Gimeno, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, and Christina Landshamer star.

Performance Date: Feb 3, 2026 at 8:15pm


Germany

Gustavo Gimeno leads a concert at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg with Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Christina Landshamer. The program includes music by Kelly-Marie Murphy, Bartók, and Mahler.

Performance Date: Feb 5, 2026 at 8:00pm


Austria

Gustavo Gimeno conducts Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Anna Prohaska perform at the Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna. The program includes music by Kelly-Marie Murphy, Bartók, and Mahler.
