The famed Zürich’s concert hall, Tonhalle Zürich has announced that it will shut down until the end of February 2021.

Major theaters and opera houses in Switzerland have already closed until at least the end of January 2021, following new measures brought by the Swiss Federal Council. Five Swiss top doctors warned Swiss Health Minister Alain Berset that without a full lockdown, the country could face the collapse of its health system as soon as January 2021.

The Swiss Federal Council is set to convene on Dec. 18 in order to bring new tighter measures in the bid to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus. Switzerland has been logging around 5,000 new cases and 100 deaths per day over the last week.
