Toledo Opera will present the second installation of “Opera Cabaret” on May 17, 2025.

The event will feature performances by the Toledo Opera Resident Artists and members of the Toledo Opera Chorus.

Opera Cabaret will be hosted by Toledo Opera Artistic Director Kevin Bylsma. The event is open to the public and will feature refreshments.

Opera Cabaret is a performance series developed by Toledo Opera to spotlight the artistry and talent of the Toledo Opera Chorus. The program was conceived following the company’s production of “South Pacific,” which featured a small and specialized ensemble.

In a statement, Bylsma said, “Following the success of our first Opera Cabaret in February, Toledo Opera is offering another performance opportunity on Saturday, May 17 at 7. Please join members of the Opera Chorus and our Resident Artists for an evening of opera and musical theatre favorites. Beautiful music, combined with scrumptious snacks and delicious wine, makes this an evening not to be missed.”
