Toledo Opera and Toledo Spirits will join forces for “Get Into the Spirit of Opera” on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Toledo Spirits Company.

The event celebrates Toledo Opera’s upcoming production of Carmen with an evening of music, craft cocktails, and community. Guests will enjoy signature drinks created by Toledo Spirits, live performances from members of the “Carmen” cast, tarot card readings, and a drawing for two opening night tickets on Oct. 10, along with a $75 gift certificate for Toledo Spirits and Bellwether.

“With Get Into the Spirit of Opera, we’re thrilled to continue our collaboration with Toledo Spirits,” said Toledo Opera General Director James M. Norman, per an official press release. “Together, we’re blending the artistry of opera with the creativity of craft spirits, giving our community a fresh and flavorful way to connect with Toledo Opera.”

Andrew Newby, CEO of Toledo Spirits, added that the experience was a “rare and exciting experience to enjoy the power of live opera up close, surrounded by friends, and toasting with drinks created just for the story of ‘Carmen.’”

“Carmen” opens on Oct. 10, 2025.
