Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck Announces 2022-23 Season

The Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck has announced its 2022-23 season. Here is a look at the Opera productions.

The season opens with Schumann’s “Genoveva” with Lukas Beikircher conducting and Johannes Reitmeier directing.

Premiere Date: Sept. 24, 2022

Tommaso Turchetta conducts Puccini’s “Tosca” with Thilo Reinhardt directing.

Premiere Date: Oct. 1, 2022

Hansjörg Sofka conducts Jason Robert Brown’s “Songs for a New World” with Alexander Kratzer directing.

Premiere Date: Oct. 23, 2022

Andrea Sanguineti and Stefan Politzka share conducting duties in Gregor Bloéb’s production of Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte.”

Premiere Date: Nov. 6, 2022

Oper von Léo Delibes’s “Lakmé” will be conducted by Tommaso Turchetta and directed by Hinrich Horstkotte.

Premiere Date: Nov. 26, 2022

Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” will be conducted by Lukas Beikircher and directed by Anette Leistenschneider.

Premiere Date: Dec. 17, 2022

Günter Werno will conduct the rockopera “Last Paradise Lost” with Urs Häberli directing.

Premiere Date: Feb. 3, 2023

Mussorgsky’s “Boris Godunov” will be directed by Thaddeus Strassberger.

Premiere Date: March 25, 2023

Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata” will be conducted by Kerem Hasan and directed by Magdalena Weingut.

Premiere Date: May 13, 2023

Michael F. P. Huber and Alois Schöpf’s “Bergkristall” will see Hansjörg Sofka conducting and Thomas Gassner directing.

Premiere Date: May 21, 2023

Strauss’ “Elektra” will be conducted by Lukas Beikircher and directed by Johannes Reitmeier.

Premiere Date: June 11, 2023
