
Three Finalists for 78th Concours de Genève Voice Competition Unveiled

The 78th Concours de Genève Voice Competition has announced the finalists for its 2024 edition.
This year, the finals will be contested between mezzo-soprano Barbara Skora, baritone Jungrae Noah Kim, and soprano Chelsea Marilyn Zurflüh.
During the showcase, which takes place on Oct. 22, 2024, each of the finalists will perform three opera arias from a list provided (which includes arias by Barber, Beethoven, Bellini, Berlioz, Bernstein, Bizet, Boito, Britten, Debussy, Dvorak, Gershwin, Giordano, Glinka, Gounod, Donizetti, Händel, Menotti, Meyerbeer, Monteverdi, Ravel, Rossini, Verdi, Wagner, and Puccini, among many others) with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande under Alevtina Ioffe.
In addition to the first, second, and third prizes, there will be Special Prizes, such as the Audience Prize, Young Artist Prize, and Student’s Prize.
The final round and prize-giving ceremony will all be streamed via Concours de Genève’s website, social media channels, and amadeus.tv.
