The Tsinandali Festival has announced its 2021 edition. The festival will take place from Sep. 8 until Sep. 19, 2021.

For the purpose of this article, we will focus on the vocal works only.

Baritone Matthias Goerne will give a recital with a program yet to be announced. Christoph Eschenbach will be at the piano.

Performance date: Sep. 10, 2021

Baritone Thomas Hampson will perform Schumann’s Six Poems and Requiem Op. 90 & Zwölf Gedichte von Justinus Kerner Op. 35. András Schiff will be at a piano.

Performance date: Sep. 12, 2021

German bass-baritone Thomas Quasthoff will perform a program “FOR YOU!” alongside Simon Oslender at a piano.

Performance date: Sep. 12, 2021

Matthias Goerne will take the stage again, performing Mahler Six Songs from “Des Knaben Wunderhorn.” Pinchas Zukerman will conduct the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Performance date: Sep. 13, 2021

Thomas Hampson will present a program yet to be announced with Elena Bashkirova at a piano.
