Thomas Bauer, Reginald Mobley, Michelle DeYoung Headline Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s 2024-25 Season

Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

Baritone Thomas Bauer will headline Mahler’s “Songs of a Wayfarer” as arranged by Schoenberg. Jaime Martín leads the performances, which also include symphonies by Haydn and Brahms.

Performance Dates: Oct. 19 & 20, 2024

Countertenor Reginald Mobley stars in a program dedicated to the works of Händel, Tartini,  Beal, Downland, Purcell, and Vivaldi. Also on the program are trumpet players Paul Merkelo and David Washburn. Margaret Batjer conducts.

Performance Dates: Jan. 11 & 12, 2025

Mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung stars in a program of French music. Matthias Pintscher conducts the concert, which features music by Debussy, Berlioz, Fauré, and Ravel.

Performance Dates: Feb. 15 & 16, 2025
