Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse Announces Changes to 2020-21 Season

The Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse has announced a production change to its 2020-21 season.

The French company announced that its opening production of Bizet’s “Les Pêcheurs de Perles ” will be replaced by “Così Fan Tutte.”

Speranza Scappucci will conduct Mozart’s masterwork with Ivan Alexandre directing. The cast will include Anne-Catherine Gillet, Alexandre Duhamel, Jean-Fernand Setti, and Mathias Vidal, who were scheduled to sing Bizet’s work. Julie Boulianne and Sandrine Buendia round out the cast.

“Così Fan Tutte” will open on Sept. 26 and close on Oct. 11.

The rest of the season remains unchanged and will include productions of “Penelope,” “Eugene Onegin,” “La Forza del Destino,” and “Le Nozze di Figaro.” You can learn more about the season here.
