Theater Bremen Announces 2021-22 Season

Theater Breman in Germany has announced its 2021-22 season. Here is a look at the opera performances of the season.

Janáček’s “The Cunning Little Vixen” will be directed by Tatjana Gürbaca and conducted by Marko Letonja.

Premiere Date: Sept. 24, 2021 at Theater am Goetheplatz

Killian Farrell conducts Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci” in a production by Ulrike Schwab.

Premiere Date: Oct. 30, 2021 at Theater am Goetheplatz

Bizet’s “Carmen” will be conducted by Tobias Schwencke and directed by Paul-Georg Dittrich.

Premiere Date: Nov. 19, 2021 at Theater am Goetheplatz

Killian Farrell conducts Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte” with Michael Talke directing.

Premiere Date: Nov. 27, 2021 at Theater am Goetheplatz

Paul-Georg Dittrich directs a production of Verdi’s “Falstaff” with Marko Letonja conducting.

Premiere Date: Jan. 29, 2022 at Theater am Goetheplatz

“Obsessions – NOperas!” will be performed.

Premiere Date: Feb. 19, 2022 at Theater am Goetheplatz

Janáček’s “Jenůfa” will be conducted by Yoel Gamzou and directed by Armin Petras.

Premiere Date: April. 9, 2022 at Theater am Goetheplatz

Yoel Gamzou will conduct “Wellen” in a production by Philipp Rosendahl.

Premiere Date: June 4, 2022 at Theater am Goetheplatz

NOperas! – “Kitesh” will be performed with music by Alexander Chernyshkov.

Premiere Date: July 7, 2022 at Theater am Goetheplatz
