Theater Bonn has announced its 2023-24 season. Here is a look at the opera productions.

“Frankenstein Junior” will be conducted by Jürgen Grimm and directed by Jens Kerbel.

Performance Dates: August 20, 2023-March 9, 2024 

Mozart’s “Die Entführung aus dem Serail will be conducted by Hermes Helfricht and directed by Katja Czellnik.

Performance Dates: Sept. 17, 2023-Jan. 14, 2024

Daniel Johannes Mayr conducts Verdi’s Rigoletto in a production by Jürgen R. Weber.

Performance Dates: Oct. 15, 2023-March 7, 2024

Schoenberg’s “Moses und Aron” will be conducted by Dirk Kaftan and directed by Lorenzo Fioroni.

Performance Dates: Dec. 10, 2023-Jan. 13, 2024

Daniel Johannes Mayr conducts Jonathan Dove’s “Flight” with Adriana Altaras directing.

Performance Dates: Jan. 21-March 24, 2024

Tchiakovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” will be conducted by Hermes Helfricht and directed by Vasily Barkhatov.

Prokofiev’s “The Love for Three Oranges” will be conducted by Dirk Kaftan and directed by Leo Muscato.

Hermes Helfricht conducts Egk’s “Columbus” in a production by Jakob Peters-Messer.

Performance Dates: June 16-July 4, 2024

Franckenstein’s “Li-Tai-Pe” will be conducted by Hermes Helfricht and directed by Adriana Altaras.
