The Schubert Club in St. Paul, Minnesota has unveiled its 2024-25 International Artists Series and 2024-25 Music in the Park Series.

The season includes one major vocal showcase – a concert performance  of Terrence Blanchard’s “Fire Shut Up in My Bones.” The showcase represents the Midwest premiere of this version of the opera.

The performance, which takes place on Feb. 23, 2025 at Ordway Concert Hall, will feature the Turtle Island Quartet and the Terrence Blanchard E-Collective. Projections for the performance will be provided by visual artist Andrew F. Scott.

Vocal performers will be announced at a later date.

The Schubert Club’s performance is co-presented with the Arts Partnership, which the Ordway, Minnesota Opera, and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra.

The Schubert Club’s new season will feature such artists as Leonidas Kavakos, Emmanuel Pahud, Jeremy Denk, Leif Ove Andsnes, Jess Gillam, Julie Himmelstrup, the Chiaroscuro Quartet, and the Jerusalem Quartet, among others.
