Singapore’s The Opera People is set to present a benefit concert “Make Our Garden Grow” on June 16, 2024 at 5 p.m. at the Esplanade Recital Studio.

The event will feature Felicia Teo Kaixin, Renata Hann Sungwon, Cherie Tse, Kira Lim, David Charles Tay, Jonathan Charles Tay, Edward Kim, and Shawn Liew.

The singers are accompanied by pianist Jonathan Shin and violinist Brenda Koh.

The program will feature works by Mozart, Händel, Bellini, Zubir Said, Wu Jia Xiang, Jonathan Shin, Giordano, Donizetti, Gounod, Dove, and Bernstein’s eponymous number from “Candide.”

Following the concert, The Opera People will present a new commission “Young Bards: Beacon Phase 1” on August 16-17, 2024 followed by a production of “Don Giovanni” on Nov. 1-3, 2024.
