The Opera Buffs will present Douglas Moore’s “The Ballad of Baby Doe” in concert on June 9, 2024.

The showcase, which will take place at Zipper Hall at the Colburn School in Los Angeles, will feature Graycen Gardner as Baby Doe, Ben Lowe as Horace Taber, Audrey Babcock as Augusta Taber, and Erin Wood McCourt as Mama, among others. Ensemble members includes Elise Walters, Jessica Gonzales-Rodriguez, Chloe Sundet, Natalie Buickians, Talar Arslanian, Estefani Lopez, Erin Alford, Manfred Anaya, Dominic Salvati, Erick Mosteller, Matthew Cook, Ben Cross, Alec Fore, David Ingram, and Leland Smith.

Brent McMunn conducts the performance, which opens at 2 p.m. and has a duration of three hours.

There will also be a pre-concert lecture and recital scheduled for May 28 at 7 p.m. at the Ebell of Los Angeles.
