The New Transylvanian Orchestra Presents Star-Studded 25th Anniversary Concert

For its anniversary concert celebrating 25 years, the New Transylvanian Orchestra presents “Carmina Burana.”

Romeo Rîmbu conducts the orchestra and soloists, soprano Daria Guți, tenor Stefan von Korch, and baritone Adrian Marcan. They are joined by the Transylvania Philharmonic Choir directed by Cornel Groza.

Also on the program is the “Smile of Music” national tour starring soprano Teodora Gheorghiu and bass-baritone Sorin Coliban. Pianist Diana Ionescu accompanies.

This sold out concert will take place on Nov. 17, at the George Coşbuc Municipal Cultural Center, in Bistrița, Romania.
